Chaos 2: IN THE DARKNESS OF THE NIGHT
By Nikholas _Chaos_ F. Toledo
----------
Ranma 1/2 is a property of Rumiko Takahashi. Any names and places
that are hereby read in this fic are of her world. However, the
circumstances that are in this story, no matter how "Ranma" they could
get, are of the author's turbulent mind.
Let the writing begin.
----------
It is a cold, gloomy night in Nerima. Kasumi Tendo is in her room,
watching the leaves being blown away by the cool night breeze. There are
simply nights when one couldn't sleep. A wave of anxiety, angst,
frustration and desperation washes away the simple joys that one has felt
during the day. No matter. Whoever it is who feels suddenly weary of
the world has the night for introspection. The breeze stirs up more
leaves and Kasumi sighs.
The stars are twinkling from so far away, giving a faint ray of,
not only light but also, hope. That is probably the reason why, people
look up at the heavens, wondering when a shooting star would blaze a
trail across the sky. No matter. Time will tell when the answers would
come. Only until then does one's wandering is stopped. The one who
roams the earth for answers shall later see it. Going around, far and
wide within the realms of the earth is but a physical manifestation. In
reality, one hopes to find something in his mind. In this case, her
mind.
'How I long for the moment when all is well around here. I can
feel their pains, their sorrows. She's growing up and I can't help but
notice how hurt she is within. The pain seems unbearable but she tries
to hide it and she doesn't do a good job of it.' Kasumi inhales a large
amount of the now chilly wind. It feels so cold that it just might numb
her senses, taking in too much of it. 'Akane is still too young for all
these things that she's worried about. Sometimes, Father can just be so
insensitive about this.' Another sigh.
Kasumi tightens the robe she wore around her, feeling what warmth
she could derive from it. It is a starry night. The moon is full.
There is a promise that sometime soon, all her weariness would be gone.
----------
That's about it.

Arigatou gozaimasu. O tegami kudasai.
PS: Chaos 1 and 2 are not related whatsoever. This is just my way to
make the titles short.
